Technical Game Designer

Funovus is a game development studio based in the United States, with team members around the globe, embracing a remote-working, geo-diverse team and culture. We are looking for people who are fierce, capable, and have a strong desire to make fun, innovative, and memorable games.


  • Deep experience of RTS games, especially mobile casual RTS games
  • Deep experience as a player of successful F2P titles; Live game operation experience of F2P games a huge plus
  • Capable of describing system structure and user flow
  • Analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Experience with UI design and implementation
  • Handle critical feedbacks gracefully and conduct constructive discussions
  • Fluent in Lua or a similar scripting language
  • Fluent in at least one game editor (Unity, UE4, StarCraft 2 Editor, or Warcraft 3 Editor)


  • Prototype creative gameplay and iterate based on playtest feedback
  • Create top-notch user experience in game with the support of the Art team
  • Polish moment to moment gameplay to a great quality
  • Design and implement meta game system and game economy, and validate the results through data analytical tools
